Description: Borehamwood and Elstree United Synagogue, together with the ZF, is delighted to host an evening with the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem.

Born in London, Fleur grew up in Gibraltar before returning to study at King’s College, London. She qualified as a barrister, practicing in the Capital, and then became the Campaign Director of World Jewish Relief. Along with her husband, she made Aliyah in 2001, during the second intifada. She joined the Yerushalmim Party in 2013 and ran for city council. She hopes to become the next Mayor of Jerusalem at the forthcoming municipal elections in October.

She will join us fresh from meeting Price William in the historic first Royal visit to Israel..

Hear from Fleur Hassan-Nahoum on Israel’s PR problem, UK-Israel-US relations and her mission to get Charedi women involved in the country’s politics. There will be ample time for questions.

Refreshments will be served.
