Description: Professor Margaret MacMillan will be delivering the 16th Isaiah Berlin Annual Lecture:“A Century Later: Does the Great War Matter in the Present?”



You are invited to this year’s Isaiah Berlin Annual Lecture at Hampstead Synagogue.

It will be delivered by Professor Margaret MacMillan on Thursday 8 November at 8 pm at the Community Centre of The Hampstead Synagogue, Dennington Park Road, London NW6 1AX.

Her topic is “A Century Later: Does the Great War Matter in the Present?"

Professor Margaret MacMillan is an eminent historian and an expert on international relations. She is delivering this year’s prestigious BBC Reith Lectures which explore the relationship between humanity and war. She is Emeritus Professor of International History at Oxford University and Professor of History at the University of Toronto. She is a great-granddaughter of former British Prime Minister David Lloyd George.
