Description: Booking for the High Holydays

Thank you for booking to come to the above Service and we look forward to welcoming you.

In line with government guidelines, people in the following categories will currently be unable to attend:

  1. If you or anyone in your household have Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to isolate as part of the Government Track and Trace scheme.
  2. If you have arrived back from a country within the past two weeks from which you need to self-isolate.

Pikuach nefesh - preserving life - is a religious imperative that overrides all other mitzvot.  Although it is difficult not to be able to participate in communal activity, our primary concern must be for our health and safety and that of other people. Therefore, if you are vulnerable we advise that you do not attend, but if you choose to, then we ask you to exercise extreme caution.

The main Shul has been set up to conform with government guidelines to social distancing.

The safety of everyone attending is of paramount importance to us and with this in mind we would ask you to adhere to the following guidance.

  1. Every adult attending services will need to wear a mask COVERING BOTH MOUTH AND NOSE and sit only in designated spaces.
  2. Please ensure that when arriving you go straight to a seat without chatting with anyone. A reminder that there is no set seating. Family bubbles are provided with a maximum of two households permitted to sit together.
  3. No walking around the Shul or talking during the Service.
  4. Only the service leader will be allowed to sing.
  5. Please leave the building straight after the Service without socialising.

Anyone who consistently disobeys these rules will be removed from the building.

We will not be providing Machzorim and Tallitot. As you will not have access to your own seat we recommend that you take any Machzorim or Tallitot that you have in your box and remove them before the High Holydays. Please contact the Shul office if you wish to make arrangements to leave these on the premises.

We understand that some of you were unsure whether you would be attending and we therefore ask that if you are no longer planning to attend, please contact the office to let them know.

We look forward to welcoming you to our services.
